Big Share is a guitar & vox duo, living and such in Tiohtià:ke/ Montreal. Big Share was started by Chesley Walsh & Luke Fowlie, whose lyrics and unique vocal harmonies, combined with hypnotic interlocking guitars, create dynamic and introspective folk pop songs.
Their current stripped down approach evolved out of their previous project, Bent by Elephants, a collaboration with musicians such as Charlotte Cornfield, Alexander P. Whyte, and members of Kite Trio, where they released three albums between 2009 and 2015.
Their debut album was produced by Michael Feuerstack and made with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts, balancing folk and vintage pop sensibilities to create their self-described genre of cabin pop.
